Mystical, Magical Mercury – Part II

Mystical, Magical Mercury – Part II

Here we present an historical, snapshot background that led up to the first public glimpse, in 1991, of what was known as the “Alien Reproduction Vehicle” or ARV.

Lt. Col. John Williams and Norton AFB

John was Lieutenant Colonel John Williams. He had retired from the U.S. Air Force after last being stationed at Norton Air Force Base in California. John went on to describe an experience that he had had at Norton in the 1980s, and, in fact, he is one of Dr. Greer’s witnesses for the Disclosure Project .

Colonel Williams joined the U.S. Air Force in 1964 and became a rescue helicopter pilot in Vietnam. Williams was a graduate electrical engineer and was in charge of all Military Air Command construction projects. While at Norton AFB, he was aware of a certain restricted facility where there was very high security.

WILLIAMS: “ There was one facility at Norton Air Force Base that was close hold—not even the wing commander there could know what was going on. During that time period it was always rumored by the pilots that that was a cover for in fact the location of one UFO craft. The reason for that location was that folks could come out, land at Norton, play golf, be part of a golf tournament and so forth and during that process could go by the facility and actually see the UFO. But I was never allowed in that area when I was there at Norton Air Force Base…”

GREER: “You were able to validate that it existed?”
WILLIAMS: I was responsible for that base’s facilities from 1981-82.”

GREER: “What kind of VIPs would be put in and out of there that might have seen these UFOs?”
WILLIAMS: “It can actually be senators. In fact, it’s my understanding that Bob Dole was at that facility. It’s also possible that back in the early 50s that Eisenhower actually visited that facility.

RAND official said that the government was spending more money on anti-gravity than any other project in the history of this country. Therefore, he believed at that time that we had actually developed operational antigravity systems. That spending would probably have been started shortly after World War II .

Lt. Col. John Williams as interviewed by Steven M. Greer, M.D

Col. Williams spoke about an unusual occasion involving the secret facility on the base. Former Secretary of Defense Frank Carlucci was alleged to be in attendance, as were other government and military dignitaries. On display in the hangar were three flying discs of different diameters, reportedly one about 30 feet in diameter, one 60 feet in diameter and one approximately 120 feet in diameter. Of course, John did not see the interior of the hangar, but other USAF witnesses passed along descriptions of what was inside.
Each disc was hovering in the air without the use of an external power source.

William “Bill” Cooper

Cooper had served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force.
Within the Air Force he had a “secret” security clearance. He served a tour of duty in Vietnam. In the U.S. Navy, according to Cooper, he received a “Top Secret, Q, Sensitive Compartmentalized Information with access authorized on a strict need-toknow basis.” That’s about as high as it gets. During his time in Naval Intelligence, he claimed that he was presented with documentation supporting the existence of advanced, anti-gravity technologies and the presence of ETI beings visiting Earth. He served in U.S. Naval Intelligence until his discharge in 1975. Almost anyone would acknowledge him as a dedicated conspiracy theorist by incorporating government involvement with extraterrestrials as a central theme. During his presentations he expounded on the secret government, ETI beings and anti-gravity programs.

Cooper is most well-known for his book, Behold A Pale Horse, published in 1991. His topics were like his lectures: UFOs, Area 51, the New World Order, Majestic-12, the Illuminati, the Secret Government and other similar topics. On page 406, he displayed a B&W drawing by an artist whose name was redacted (shown in the illustration here) and titled “Alien Reproduction Vehicle.” To one side of the image was the caption, “Built by Northrop, McDonald [sic] Douglas, and General Electric.6 Stored at Norton AFB and Edwards AFB. Flies out of Area #51.” That was it . . . no other descriptions of the ARV were provided.

Who supplied the original drawing to Cooper is unknown, even to his publisher, and is lost to history. Presumably, the artist’s name was redacted due to national security issues. Cooper died in 2001 due to gunshot wounds under mysterious circumstances .

The Alien Reproduction Vehicle

Lt. Colonel John Williams stated that there was a “UFO craft” secured in a “close hold” hangar at Norton AFB in the early 1980s. It is suggested that the “UFO craft” described by Colonel Williams may be one and the same with that shown in the late Bill Cooper’s book in 1991.
The drawing displays a four-seat, crew compartment at the top and a propulsion compartment below. A central column running from the propulsion system extends vertically into the crew compartment. On the left side of the crew compartment there is a “submarine-style” hatch for crew entry and egress. There are no windows. Multiple TV cameras provided exterior viewing.
Years later, a far more detailed drawing was presented by Mark McCandlish. McCandlish is a well-known, technical artist whose illustrations have been on the front covers of such magazines as Popular Mechanics. Typically, his illustrations have to do with some aspect of the aerospace industry.
According to a close friend of McCandlish, he claimed to have seen three vehicles, all of the same design, but with different diameters at Norton AFB in 1988. The vehicle illustrated above was estimated by his friend as approximately 24 feet in diameter and carried four crew members.

Open Minds Magazine and the Orion Craft

In 2010, Open Minds magazine (now known as Open Minds Productions) created a series of schematic floor plans of the S4 facility (located about 12 miles south of Area 51) in Nevada. Open Minds also published illustrations of the alleged nine S4 hangars. The drawings were based on the principal recollections of Dr. Dan Burisch and to a limited degree by others such as Bob Lazar and Captain Bill Uhouse.
In the first of nine hangars was what is called the “Sport Model.” This was the undamaged craft that was reported by Lazar and referred to by the same name. Hangar 2 contained an identical model. Hangar 3 contained the Roswell craft and was covered by a tarp. Hangar 4 contained what was called the Orion craft. Notice the similarity between the alleged ETI Orion craft and the Alien Reproduction Vehicle (ARV). At the time of observation, there were five additional hangars containing four additional vehicles. One of those hangars was empty. The Orion craft was alleged to have been an all silver-gray color as depicted in the image below.
